2012 Awards

The Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation is pleased to present the 43rd Annual Preservation Awards, showcasing outstanding projects that revitalize historic places in our community.  There’s an award for nearly every type of project, from multimillion-dollar restorations in authentic historic detail, to do-it-yourself rehabilitations, to grassroots revitalization efforts.  You can review our various categories here.

Last year’s winning projects include the Ideal Building (housing Treehouse Kid & Craft), Stegman Coliseum, and Ted’s Most Best.  Pictures of all the winners are available here.

See this year’s best local makeovers – from properties that have literally risen from the ashes, to some that could serve as a Mad Men set!  It’s an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the best preservation projects in town, and you are all invited.
