If you have an interest in helping carry out ACHF’s mission of advocating for historic preservation in Athens and want to get directly involved in shaping our programs and events, consider becoming a member of our Board of Trustees. This volunteer group of dedicated individuals sets the tone for the organization’s direction and we are always looking for new talents and perspectives. No previous background in historic preservation is required, but professional experience in real estate, law, event planning, local government, construction, and finance are just a few areas that are welcome. The Board meets once a month and members are expected to serve on committees and donate time for events and program development. For more information, contact Amy Kissane, Executive Director, at 706.353.1801 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
