The Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation maintains or partners on a variety of educational and fundraising programs that take place year-round. Our programs are developed to meet the interests of our members, attract new members, help the community, and discover new and creative ways to showcase local heritage and historic resources. These programs include:

>Athens Heritage Walks: Walking tours through Athens’ historic neighborhoods led by tour guides who provide historical context.

>Hands on Athens: Volunteers from across the community come together to provide necessary repairs and maintenance to older houses in low-income neighborhoods.

>Preservation Awards: Our yearly awards ceremony showcases outstanding preservation projects throughout Athens-Clarke County.

>Brown Bag Lunches: The Brown Bag Lunch program offer a chance for informal and open dialogue between members of the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation (ACHF) and the community at-large, in cooperation with staff from the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department.

>Revolving Fund: The mission of the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation Revolving Fund is to preserve resources of architectural, historical, archaeological, and/or cultural significance by promoting their rehabilitation and monitoring their preservation.

>Athens Historic House Museum Association: A joint effort of the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation and the Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau.
